Reverse Engineering
Blueprints have been lost, did never exist or the product of a competitor is to be analyzed: There are many reasons for Reverse Engineering, i.e. turning a physical object into a 3D CAD model.The Linearis3D photogrammetry system can handle a variety of reverse engineering tasks fast, economically and with high precision.
Measurement procedure:
- Tag object with self-adhesive stamps
- Take a few dozen to several hundred photos depending on the object complexity
- Compute 3D positions of the measuring points
- Generation of a CAD model. Corresponding to the design intent geometries are represented as simple as possible - but not too simple.
